Texting and Driving

If I were a congresswoman I would pass a law to help or prevent texting and driving.  The law would either be a fine or jail for texting while driving. Texting and driving is extremely dangerous so I think a harsh fine or jail time is a reasonable warning or punishment.  Also to prevent texting and driving I think having an app on your phone or something in your car that wont let your phone accessible when driving over a certain speed limit.

Drinking and driving and texting and drinking are similar in many ways and different in just as many.  Texting and driving is illegal in 13 different states while drinking and driving is illegal in all 50.  While both are extremely dangerous and can even be fatal people still proceed to doing them.  Most teens believe it’s safer to text and drive then to drink and drive but they are the same in the results they produce.  Death.

A plan to reduce the use of texting while driving would be to make phones inaccessible while in the car. This plan would prevent fatal deaths from texting and driving.  Another plan could be for texts and emails would be able to work while in the car. This would reduce the phone use while driving so again the deaths would be reduced or completely prevented.  Texting and driving is extremely dangerous and people need to understand that so the fact that it kills so many people a year I’m still surprised people continue to do it.

Optimizing image

Keep the dimensions small- This explains that cropping your pictures helps add focus to the main part of the photo. Also making sure that the picture isn’t unnecessarily too large.

Use as few colors as possible- This tip explains that using too many colors from the color palette could increase the image size.

Put your images through an optimizing program-Making images look good at smaller sizes using photoshop.

Principles of Design

Contrast: Apples and oranges are alike in many ways both round, both fruit but when you look at them they are clearly different colors. Orange is different from red and green. If they were in a bowl together you see the obvious contrast.

Alignment: when your at a bank you have to wait in line to see a banker. and if you didn’t have these lines it would be crowed and nothing would get done.
